To me being in a kitchen is where I'm most happy. I love creating with food and seeing people have a smile on their face from a dish that made.
I started cooking as a child and loved standing in front of my parents stove/oven and experimenting with everything they had in the fridge. My parents would teach me what they knew and then I realized cooking brings people together and I love that. I cooked in bar and grills in my teenage years and moved on to working in a farm to table restaurant in my 20's. Cooking with ingredients grown not far was impressive to me, that establishment unfortunately wasn't getting the business it should so I moved on to The Governor in Milford. This establishment felt like home and the menu is amazing and fun to cook. Chef Paul Barraco, the owner, has been an inspiration and has taught me even more when it came to the culinary field. I specialize in Italian, Southern, and Asian cuisine.
