Chef Jeff Allen Cheffrey

Jeff Allen is an executive chef and culinary leader with a career spanning more than two decades. From July 2021 to January 2026, I served as Executive Chef at Miller’s All Day in Charleston, where my creative, ingredient-driven approach helped establish the restaurant as the city’s top brunch destination for four consecutive years.

I was born into a chef’s family in New Haven, Connecticut, and began my formal training in 2005 at the Center for the Culinary Arts in Cromwell, earning an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and Chef Training in 2007. Since then, I’ve built a diverse culinary portfolio, expanding my expertise across multiple cuisines and concepts.

Since relocating to Charleston in 2014, I’ve contributed to several successful restaurant launches, including Wood & Grain and SAVI Cucina + Wine Bar. As Executive Chef at SAVI, I was named a top-three finalist for Best Chef in Mount Pleasant in 2020.

I currently work at the Aramark Boeing campus in Charleston, focusing on elevated, approachable cuisine that highlights Lowcountry ingredients. I live in Charleston with my wife, Katie, our two children, Grayson and Lizzie, and our three dogs.
