Nicholas Schoch is a Los Angeles-based private chef specializing in elevated comfort food: meals that are seasonal, globally influenced, and cooked to actually satisfy. His cooking draws on years of professional kitchen experience and a deep, ongoing curiosity about food: where it comes from, how cultures use it, and what makes a dish feel genuinely good to eat. Before turning to cooking full time, Nicholas worked in film production, a background that both sharpened his eye for detail and his instinct for what an experience should feel like from start to finish. That same attention carries into every meal he prepares. He works with a small number of clients across Los Angeles, cooking in your home with the care and intention of a restaurant kitchen, but without the formality.
