Really amazing! It was my first time using this service and Martin was incredible! He made the most incredible food and worked around our allergies and food preferences. The presentation was so great. Honestly 5/5 for Martin. We are super happy!

Chef Martin was everything we could have hoped for. We hired him to serve breakfast and dinner every day for one full week while we were visiting Algarve. The food was consistently fantastic. The man is a magician with potatoes. Martin was also excellent to work with. He was communicative, prompt and accommodated our needs and interests. And he made sure that our celiac guest always had a full assortment of options at every meal. This was our first time hiring a chef for a week, and Martin set a very high bar for future trips. We would hire him again in a second.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van onze avond met Chef Martin! Vanaf het eerste contact was de communicatie prettig, duidelijk en ontspannen. Martin is een ontzettend vriendelijke en keurige man die zich gemakkelijk aanpast en ook heel leuk en ontspannen met de kinderen omging. Het eten was heerlijk en absoluut waar voor je geld. Het fijne aan deze ervaring is dat je in je eigen huis volledig kunt ontspannen, terwijl er ondertussen een heerlijke maaltijd voor je wordt bereid. Geen gedoe, alleen genieten! Ook na afloop was alles perfect verzorgd: de keuken was weer heerlijk schoon en opgeruimd. Echt een luxe avond zonder dat het stijf of formeel voelde. Wij zouden Chef Martin absoluut aanraden en boeken hem met alle plezier nog een keer!

Chef Martin was a superb ending to a great week away with friends. It felt like such a treat having Martin cook for us.

Martin van Unen prepared an extraordinary meal for our group of 16. This was no simple request as we had two vegetarians and one gluten-free diners. Across our communications with him, he was professional, prompt and took the utmost care and providing the diner. The diner was definitely one of the highlights for our time in the Algarve. Every single member of our group raved about how wonderful the meal was and how and how friendly and engaging Martin was with Our group. As an added benefit, he cleaned our kitchen so well that it was cleaner after Martin cooked! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend using Martin!

Martin was an outstanding chef who provided a five star experience. He prepared excellent food, including a gender reveal cake! He prepared so much food we had a lovely leftovers the next day and he packed it all up for us. He left the kitchen cleaner than when he arrived. Outstanding experience!

Martijn is a talented chef and produced brilliant food for our party of nine people, there was more food than we were able to eat at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and will definitely be using again when we are back in the Algarve!

I would highly recommend Martin as a chef for anyone looking to do an at home private experience. He exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible and he was very accommodating for a gluten allergy. The presentation for each dish was very appealing and he served very generous portions for our group of 9. This was our favorite meal while staying in Ferragudo. Martin is a very pleasant chef and will not disappoint!

We had an excellent experience with Martin as our private chef. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he was professional throughout. The food was absolutely amazing, and one of the girls in our group was vegetarian, so Martin prepared a separate menu for her, which was excellent and very much appreciated. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and our bride-to-be absolutely loved it. We would highly recommend Martin to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Martin was an absolute pleasure to have as our private chef. He truly was Accommodating and flexible. We would definitely use him again. Our highlights with Martin were his Dorade in salt crust, his piri piri chicken, his oysters, his langoustine, his lamb, his hamburgers and his salads, one of the best Ceaser salads! Just overall a wonderful experience with him.

Martin was such a great chef he took everyone’s allergies and preferences very seriously he made incredible dishes tried to put together lots of different varieties for us. Really listen to what our group of people were wanting. It was a large group so it was a lot of people to take care of and he did it in such a timely manner and was really great about everything with 100% recommend.

Chef Martin was charming, friendly and punctual. He was engaging and fun, pitching his engagement with the guests perfectly. The food was excellent and well presented, perfect temperature and timing for each course. Martin was helpful and engaging before the event, with minimal fuss meaning i spent less than five minutes organising menus etc with him. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

We were really happy with our breakfast that Martin kindly cooked for us. He was incredibly responsive and provided me with a tailored breakfast menu very fast. Any changes I wanted to make he accommodated and I even asked on the morning if he had Nutella for our pancakes and he went to the shop en route and picked some up for us. He was very professional, kind and the food was delicious. Would recommend!

We had an absolutely lovely time during Chef Martin's dining experience. Chef Martin was always very responsive when sorting the logistics for the day and able to accommodate our food restrictions - he was able to offer different options to sort out a menu 100% pregnant-friendly! He was very caring whilst prepping the meal and serving us. The food was absolutely delicious and he left the kitchen very clean, absolutely immaculate!
