Chef Morayo Viho

I am the founder of Mo’s Haven, a food and events brand built from my love for cooking, creativity and creating memorable experiences for people. My journey with food has grown through years of hands-on cooking, experimenting with different recipes, catering for clients, preparing meals for family and friends, and constantly learning how to improve my craft.

My cooking is inspired by the richness and diversity of Nigerian cuisine, while also embracing continental and international flavours. I enjoy preparing a wide variety of meals, from Nigerian favourites such as jollof rice, fried rice, native rice, ofada rice, egusi, afang, efo riro, okro, banga and fisherman soup, to dishes such as Alfredo pasta, creamy pasta, mac and cheese, salads, seafood boils and beautifully presented sides. I also enjoy creating small chops, desserts, refreshing drinks and personalised menus based on each client's preferences.

What I love most about cooking is that food can completely change the atmosphere of an occasion. A thoughtfully prepared meal can turn an ordinary evening into a special memory, bring people together around the same table, and make celebrations feel even more meaningful. This is the experience I aim to create through Mo’s Haven Private Chef.

I pay attention to flavour, presentation, quality ingredients and the individual preferences of my clients. I believe that a good private dining experience should feel personal rather than generic, which is why I enjoy working with clients to create menus that suit their occasion, tastes and expectations.

As I expand Mo’s Haven into private chef services, my goal is to provide delicious, well-presented food and a warm, personalised dining experience in the comfort of my clients' homes or chosen venues. Whether it is an intimate dinner for two, a birthday celebration, a family gathering, a girls' night, a special occasion or a small private event, I want every client to leave with great food and an experience worth remembering.
